What to expect:

Intertwining Art and Poetry:

At the heart of our exhibition lies the vision of seamlessly blending visual art and poetry, creating a beautiful conversation between the written word and painted canvas. Our aim is to translate the evocative verses of Tina Biello's poetry into striking mixed media paintings.

Exploration of Poetry's Influence:

Our exhibition is a journey into how poetry can inspire and shape visual expression. Each artwork will be a reflection of a specific poem, capturing not only its literal meaning but also its emotional depth and thematic essence.

Diverse Artistic Techniques:

Using a variety of materials and techniques, I seek to give each artwork a distinct aesthetic identity, mirroring the unique qualities of the poems that inspire them. From bold strokes to delicate collage, my process is one of experimentation and creativity.

Creating an Immersive Experience:

By presenting poetry and painting side by side, we aim to immerse viewers in a dialogue between written and visual art forms. Through this synthesis, we hope to deepen appreciation for how art and literature enrich and complement each other.

Inspired by Collaboration:

Our exhibit is driven by the spirit of collaboration, both between artist and poet and between artwork and audience. We hope to spark meaningful conversations and connections among those who engage with our collection.

This exhibition is part of the Taking Up Space Initiative, empowering female artists to showcase their work on a global platform.
