my very first exhibit on Canadian east coast—at the Propeller Art Gallery
On January 25, I had the incredible experience of opening my very first art exhibit on the Canadian East Coast. This juried show was an exciting milestone, and I had the honor of showcasing two of my pieces at the Propeller Art Gallery for the Heart, Mind, Love Exhibit. Stepping into the space that afternoon, I felt a mix of excitement and gratitude—seeing my work displayed in a new setting, surrounded by art lovers and supporters, was both humbling and exhilarating.
The opening reception was filled with warm conversations, thoughtful observations, and connections with people who resonated with my work. I had the chance to share insights about my creative process, the inspiration behind my pieces, and how poetry played an important role.
One of the most meaningful moments was witnessing how viewers interacted with the art—pausing in front of a painting, leaning in to study a detail, or sharing their own interpretations. It reminded me of why I do this: to evoke emotion, to spark curiosity, and to offer a visual language that speaks beyond words.
This exhibit marks a milestone in my journey, and I’m grateful for everyone who made it possible.
