Familiar coastlines (still fresh) 20"x20"

Familiar Coastlines, it’s still fresh!
it’s all about the mountains and views from Vancouver Island. I want to capture that feeling of looking out over the water, where the ocean stretches wide, and the mountains rise up in layers of deep blue and soft grey, sometimes crisp, sometimes fading into the mist. You know how the light shifts—some days the peaks are glowing in the sun, other days they disappear into low, rolling clouds. There’s something steady and familiar about it, the way the coastline curves, the way the mountains always feel close, even when they’re far off in the distance. That’s what I want to bring into this piece—that quiet sense of place, of being home.
